1300 Cats Killed on the Streets of Toronto
Toronto Animal Services picked up 7500 dead animals in 2011, 1300 of which were cats. And there were probably many they didn’t record. The majority of carcasses picked up by Toronto’s Animal Services Emergency and Mobile Response Unit are road kill.
